We are hopefully getting the keys to our new house today. Housing gave us an extra week to move. We did get some packing done over the weekend.
Alyssa is almost done with summer school. Her last day is Thursday. Her and Ashlyn have a Girl Scout camp out on the 11th. They have Vacation Bible School next month. Alyssa has a summer day camp also next month. The day camp is free and is a science and technology type camp. Alyssa gets to build a small rocket and launch it.
I am being induced on Fri. I will probably go in early in the morning. I am hoping he won’t come before then. But as you all know babies have their own agenda. Since we have 2 weeks to switch houses, he can come whenever and we can work around it.
Amiyah has gone from saying NO to everything, to saying NO WAY! She is talking so much now. She calls the new baby “baby in the pants”.
It has been hotter than normal for June. We have been in the triple digits most of the month. It is supposed to cool off into the 90’s this week. We may even get a little rain. It is very dry here. There is a fireworks ban for the 4th like last year. I know they do a big display downtown and here on Lackland, but no personal fireworks.
Well I am going to get ready for my day and maybe get a few chores done. Love you all.

...the hospital jumped the gun and determined they weren't able to induce until 39 weeks ...we'll try again 3 July.

It's about that time...

Hello all. Well the kids have their last day of school today. In fact I have to go pick up the girls in about 20 minutes. Alyssa is going to summer school for 4 weeks. This is to improve her standardized testing score next spring. She got great grades though. I think she got all B’s. Jordan passed all of his classes as far was we know.
Hank is a Master Sergeant as of the 1st of June. The base wide inspection begins next week, so he is really busy.
I am 36 weeks pregnant, so I am about done. Alyssa and Amiyah were born at 38 weeks and Ashlyn at 39. I have a dr’s apt on Monday, just routine.
The big news at our house this week is that we have reached the top of the 5 bdr waiting list. We got a choice between the only two 5 bdr floor plans in our neighborhood. One was a one story the other a two story. You don’t usually get a choice but one of the houses was for MSgt and above. Hank just put on MSgt this week. Well we have seen both and are taking a two story 5 bdr. It is really nice and we know the people who live there. They have taken really good care of the house so it was an easy choice. It puts us halfway closer to the school and commissary. We were already pretty close. It also puts us across the street from the neighborhood park. Alyssa and Ashlyn are thrilled. We move in next month. Hopefully the baby will be born in the next couple of weeks so I can have some recovery time. I am not worried, it will work out. The waiting list is supposed to be up to a year and a half long. We were on it for less than 5 months. The housing rep said this is unheard of. God has our back.
We have named the new baby. His name is Nathaniel Henry. We call him baby Nate or Nater Tot. His name means given by God. We feel like it is a good reminder of why we have him.
Well I have to go pick up my girls, so love you all.
