New "Latest Posts" link Posted Tuesday, June 24, 2003, 7:12 PM, CDT by Hank I finally implimented this; I've wanted to for a while but just recently found the right script to do it. The latest Message Board posts (and links to them) will now appear on the menu on the left. This means, if you post a new message on the Bulletin Board, it will be really easy to tell from this main page. Anyway, feel free to post some messages to try it out. Ohh yeah, I also renamed the "Bulletin Board" to "Message Board" for the heck of it.

Please add any personal webpages you have or anything else you think might be of interest. I've already added a link to my parent's quarter horse page. It's really easy to do, just type in the web page address, and a description and click the "Add URL" button. Your link will be added to the page right away for other's to see.

What Typhoon?! Posted Wednesday, June 18, 2003, 7:36 PM, CDT by Hank Well Typhoon Soudelor went by us last night. We barely caught the edge of it as it slipped north towards South Korea and mainland Japan. It got a little windy last night but the winds barely got over 50 miles per hour for only a short period of time. We were actually kinda excited to experience the typhoon, but Soudelor was about as anti-climactic as it gets. Ohh well.

Typhoon Soudelor Posted Tuesday, June 17, 2003, 8:50 PM, CDT by Hank We are getting ready to experience our first typhoon here in Okinawa. Nothing to worry about, I'm safe at work and the kids and Dawn are fine at home. The winds haven't really started picking up here, about 20-30 miles per hour right now. We expect to get 50 miles per hour or greater by this afternoon. The typhoon is going northwest of us from the south, so we won't get the full force of it if it stays on it's current path, just the edge of it as it goes by. Nothing to worry about. We are all ok.
