We are doing fine.

Well we are still waiting for an assignment. Our paperwork reached the assignment people on Mar 19th. We were told it would be about 4 to 6 weeks.
We got a good email from Jordan’s English teacher. She said Jordan was doing much better in her class. She said he has been turning in his school work. She also said his attitude is much better.
Alyssa is doing great. I think she will pass level 3 swim lessons pretty soon. She is a fast learner. Spring break starts Friday.
Hank is working 12 hour shifts. He works 3 days on 3 days off. He is working night shifts every other set.
Hank got a new mountain bike. It is made by Giant. I guess these bikes are much cheaper here in Guam. He loves his bike. He wanted to get one at the BX but I talked him into going to a bike shop. A woman from PWOC who told me where to get a good mountain bike also offered me a bike for free that she only road a few times. She is really into cycling and her husband had bought her a city bike while they were living in Germany. She liked it but liked her mountain bike more. Anyway, My bike retails for about $750.00. It is Giant brand and is a unique style. It reminds me of the wicked witch of the wests bike on Wizord Of Oz. It is only a few years old and in excellent condition. We took it in to have a couple minor repairs done and will pick it up tonight. The bike is for street riding and is designed for comfort and carrying children. I am very blessed to have this fall in my lap. Hank and I have been looking at bikes for several weeks. He got a really nice bike for cheap. I got a REALLY nice bike for free.
Amiyah is talking more. She says I love you. Ashlyn is just hanging around. She and Alyssa have been playing outside a lot with their friends.

still waiting

I have been such a bad poster. Nothing big going on here. We are still waiting on news about our reassignment. The kids had their yearly school testing this last week. Alyssa had another speech on Friday and she did very well. She is also back in swim lessons but now it is only once a week on Friday. I like this time slot better because she doesn’t have to be anywhere after her swim lesson. No more wet hair at AWANA. Alyssa has also reached her maintenance dose for her allergy shots. She has been working her way up to this dose for several months. She was getting her shot once or twice a week. Now she will go once a week for a few weeks then only twice a month. Eventually she will be down to once a month. We will know if the shots are actually helping her dust mite allergies in about 6 months. If the shots are not giving her a marked improvement we may consider stopping them. If they are helping then she will continue them monthly for 3 years or maybe even longer.
The other kids are great. Jordan is still grounded until his next report card or longer. We are home schooling him for high school unless some extraordinary circumstance happens.
Well I am off to clean some while Amiyah is still asleep.
