Hafa adai cold weather people. We have had a nice week. We went down to the beach this afternoon for a free buffet. The food was ok. The weather was hot and humid. It cooled off a little in the evening. The kids had a great time. We are very happy to be in shorts and flip-flops this time of year.
We are still waiting for our paperwork to come back for our EFMP reassignment. When we get it back then we can submit our actual application online. We will keep you posted.
Ashlyn has pinkeye. She is our first kid to have had that. The doc gave us some goop to put in her eyes a couple times a day. Her eyes are already looking better.
We had a Stealth Bomber crash here on Saturday. Hank and I saw the explosion. The pilots ejected and are fine. Hank went into work after we saw what happened. He sent out the reports.
This was the first B2 bomber crash ever. These planes cost a billion dollars. The pilots and the planes were on their way back to the states after being here for several months. The plane crashed during take off. As you can imagine it was a big deal here.
That is all that is going on here. We love you all.

Amiyah is turning 1. We may be moving.

We had a nice weekend. We let Amiyah open her birthday gifts last night. We will do cupcakes for her sometime this week. Her birthday is on Thursday. We figure she doesn’t understand time so we are trying to fit her birthday in when Hank isn’t working and the kids are home from school. She liked all her new toys. She also likes climbing on top of and into hank’s suitcase. It is the soft type so it sinks in when she climbs on it. I love how everything in her world is a toy.
We may be reassigned to another base sometime in the near future. Alyssa needs a pediatric ophthalmologist. We are hoping for Hawaii. It will be several weeks before we know if we are relocating and where. I am sad. I have just begun to make friends here. We have an awesome church community. I will have to home school all the kids if we move to any of the places where they have a PO. Hank and I have mixed feelings. We will keep you all updated as we find things out.

Aloha

Hank and Alyssa have had a nice time in Hawaii. They will be back tomorrow evening. Alyssa’s eye apt went well. The doc is going to have her do several months of patching for both eyes before she does surgery. I will get into all of that on another post.
Amiyah is walking well. She is saying stop. I say that a lot when she does something I don’t like. She also says Ahhh and opens her mouth for me to brush her teeth. I think Hank always says ahhh to her. He is usually the teeth brusher.
Ashlyn has learned to drive her power wheels. I take her for walks almost every day. She drives and the baby sits in the passenger seat. The Ashlyn quote of the week is “If the whole world was made of doughnuts then we would never have to go to Dunkin doughnuts, we could just take a bite out of the world.” She has missed Alyssa. I think she misses having her in their room at night. Her friend Ella came over for a play date today that made her very happy.
Amiyah has been sleeping with me a lot because she had a cold. She is still coughing some at night. I keep her with me, it makes me feel better.
We have had a lazy week. I thought I would get more done with Alyssa and Hank gone. I have spent more time with Ashlyn and we have just been kicking back. I think we are a little sad. We are just passing time until the sunshine’s of our lives return.
Amiyah is going to be 1 year old on the 21st. Ashlyn turned 5 on the 8th. Ashlyn had a nice birthday. We had a valentine themed party and invited a bunch of little girls. She got a lot of gifts including a pink mustang convertible power wheels.
Well I am off to bed. I get to see my honeybear and lovemonkey tomorrow.
